According to a report fromBloomberg News, Apple $AAPL is exploring the possibility of working with Google $GOOGL to integrate Gemini AI into the iPhone!

Negotiations are focusing on licensing Gemini for new features in the software iPhone, but the details are not yet clear.

📈 Alphabet shares jumped more than 6 %, and Apple also saw an increase of 2,5 %which has to be at least a small boost for Apple shareholders , since the stock hasn't exactly started the new year off well.

No deal is likely to be announced before June, but a potential merger could Google could help Google get more than 2 billion 2 billion active devices Apple. This deepens a long-standing collaboration Alphabet a Appleas Google is the default search engine in the web browser Safari.

This is very interesting news for Alphabet, as it could at least easily catch up with Microsoft $MSFT and get its AI out to more people.

🔍 This collaboration could overcome concerns about the slow uptake of AI applications from Apple and boost the search giant's efforts to increase its presence.

On the other hand, I'm quite sad and puzzled as an investor that Apple hasn't come up with innovations in the field AI and is not a leader in this area. After all Siri was first in iPhone 4S back in 2011 and today, it certainly deserves more improvements and many new features.

Like why not, both companies will strengthen each other a lot and they will outrun the competition again

This is probably why, I see both positives and negatives. I am glad that GOOGL is growing and making me happy. I'm not worried about Apple, but it's been a long time since Apple has released anything that has helped the company in any significant way, both in success and profitability. If Apple would focus more on That AI and come up with something completely new, it might revitalize Apple a bit.

Just like it's nice to introduce a new iPhone and Watt every year, but they're going to have to offer something more to those people. Apple should be the cutting edge of innovation.

I also read this and for me it's only Ok, I like Apple very much and I use their products because I'm already used to their system and it's really very fast, smooth and without any hiccups and care as it must have been with windows ...so this connection, cooperation is a good step for me. 😊

I like Apple products too much and I use them myself, I'm just a bit sorry that Apple doesn't work on something of its own. After all, it's always "number one" in new technology.
