The first Tiktok ban in the US.
Montana yesterday became the first US state to ban Tiktok. The whole thing is likely to have a court case that will quite possibly decide the future course of action.
This could be the catalyst for a US-wide ban on Tiktok, which would strongly benefit $META.

I don't think they'll ban it across the US, I could see people taking to the streets over it or then someone bringing it up at the polls as their agenda to bring it back :D if that happened $META has the perfect override.
I can't imagine the target audience of Tiktok taking to the streets. But maybe you're right - maybe they'll be more action-oriented than others. I'm curious. 😁
Meta has been benefiting for the last few months and it shows in the share price. If they really do ban TikTok, it will be big news and a big hit to the lives of Americans. I don't use the app, but I see it all over the place. These people can't do without it anymore...
I agree, I don't have ticktock either, but I also see it all around me and sometimes it's scary. Of course if they banned ticking, people would switch to Instagram reels which would benefit Meta.
