How do you perceive the shares of telecommunications companies nowadays? For example, $TMUS or $AMT? The stock has suffered quite a bit in recent months. Personally, I don't invest in this sector because I don't find it that exciting and I don't even see that much potential there and what's more, I don't understand it. Can stocks in this sector return to their peaks in your opinion?

I totally agree with you and see it the same way. I don't see the potential there, I don't find the stock very attractive and I also don't understand the sector very well :D

They are suffering because we have 5G and nothing else in sight, and since "internet" is the main product of all these companies (and Starlink is nipping at their heels), they don't have much to offer now and their long-term future is uncertain too...

In telecommunications I used to have Vodafone, but now I tend to avoid this sector. I don't get the feeling that they've looked particularly up, but it's hard to say.

I think we'll see some growth at the pivot. Until then, I don't expect much to happen in the stock, at least I don't expect it. I'm holding myself, it's not my best investment, but I still believe I'll sit it out. I don't expect the company to do particularly well, I just think it's all set.

If you don't expect it to do particularly well, why not sell the investment and invest the money somewhere you think it will do well? :)

We will not see growth this year, rather a decline, but I see potential for the future.

The potential is certainly there. They are good companies that can now be bought at nice prices.
