Global sales of all-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles rose 13% in June compared to the same month in 2023, driven by growth in China, while they fell in Europe, Rho Motion said.

China accounted for more than 60% of the total, as the growing availability of electric vehicles and BYD's strong sales helped boost PHEV share in the domestic market in the first half of the year.
